Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekends and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department with 74 treatment spaces, including a dedicated trauma bay and behavioral health unit
• Float as needed to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU), a 22-bed unit with full telemetry capability and negative pressure room availability
• Deliver nursing interventions and procedures for patients undergoing lengthy testing, awaiting consultation, or awaiting inpatient bed placement
• Care for a diverse patient population, including potential COVID-positive patients
• Adhere to every-third-weekend scheduling requirements and holiday coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license hits accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system strongly preferred
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and negative pressure room protocols
• Experience in or willingness to cross-train for Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU) duties
