Contract | Travel | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Weekend availability a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 occupational therapy services to patients within an inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with individualized care plans and rehabilitation goals
- Document patient progress and clinical notes accurately using Meditech electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
- Maintain primary assignment within the inpatient rehab unit with floating as needed per unit policy
- Adhere to unit dress code requirements, including grey scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida Occupational Therapist state license
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Minimum 6 months of experience in acute care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Strong critical thinking and clinical problem-solving skills
- Efficient time management skills with ability to manage a full patient caseload
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Ability to incorporate weekend shifts into a 5-day work week schedule
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
