Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical units covering orthopedic, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patient populations
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:5–7 ratio depending on patient acuity across a 36-bed unit
• Float between two Medical Surgical units as required to meet staffing needs
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Willingness and ability to float between Medical Surgical units as needed
• Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in telemetry, orthopedic, or stroke care settings
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new environments
