Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Location

Richmond, Virginia

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a 24-bed Maternal Infant Unit with a 1:1 labor patient ratio
Assist with and support vaginal deliveries and C-sections
Care for antepartum, postpartum, and newborn patients with ratios of 5–6:1
Operate and interpret GE fetal monitors and document care using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB techs, nursery nurses, and unit leadership
Participate in every third weekend rotation and fulfill 12 hours of on-call per 4-week schedule

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current NRP certification
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience in an LDRP setting
Experience in a high birth volume labor and delivery environment
