Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Location

Richmond, Virginia

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients, including support through vaginal deliveries and C-sections
Manage antepartum patients and deliver postpartum and newborn care
Maintain labor patient ratios of 1:1, and postpartum and nursery ratios of 5–6:1
Operate GE fetal monitoring equipment and document care using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB techs, nursery nurses, and unit leadership
Fulfill weekend rotation requirements (every third weekend) and 12 hours of on-call per 4-week schedule

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
Proficiency with GE fetal monitors and electronic medical records

Preferred Experience / Skills

2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience in an LDRP setting with high birth volumes
Familiarity with Meditech and CPN EMR platforms
