Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in a Medical/Surgical setting
Perform thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
Function independently while responding rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all patient and organizational matters
Uphold and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization in accordance with Maine State Standards

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Maine
Experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing environment
Strong assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills
Proficiency with healthcare computer systems and electronic health records
Ability to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience working night shift in an acute care or Med/Surg unit
Familiarity with Maine State nursing standards and regulatory requirements
