Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical conditions and diseases
- Manage patient assignments within a 25-bed ICU setting at a ratio of 1:5–6
- Administer and reconcile medications using an automated dispensing system (Pyxis)
- Document patient care and clinical data accurately within Cerner EMR
- Adhere to all unit safety protocols, including mandatory mask use at all times within the ICU
Required Qualifications
- Active single-state Oklahoma RN license or valid Compact nursing license
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
- Pediatric ICU experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications — must be American Heart Association (AHA) issued
- NIHSS certification required
- Must comply with unit dress code: Navy Blue scrubs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a mixed adult and pediatric ICU environment
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
