Travel Registered Nurse – PCU / Intermediate Care Unit (7p–7a)

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | 8-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Intermediate Care / PCU unit serving adult and geriatric populations with general and cardiac diagnoses
• Monitor and manage patients requiring step-down level care, including cardiac monitoring and telemetry
• Assist with post-catheterization care, including removal of post-cath sheaths/stents as applicable
• Float to telemetry and critical care units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the facility EHR system (Meditech/Medhost)
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of PCU, IMC, or step-down nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Current ACLS certification (required)
• Demonstrated cardiac nursing experience
• Ability and willingness to float to telemetry and critical care units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-catheterization care, including removal of arterial sheaths or stents
• Prior experience with Meditech or Medhost EHR platforms
• Travel nursing experience in an acute care setting
