Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | No call outside of scheduled hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services primarily in an outpatient setting with additional acute inpatient coverage as needed
• Deliver care within a rural critical access hospital environment, including coordination with inpatient and outpatient therapy teams
• Participate in daily morning huddle to assess and determine outpatient coverage needs in coordination with the outpatient therapy team
• Complete clinical documentation using PowerChart and maintain required manual logs
• Adapt scheduling and caseload dynamically based on daily patient volume and acuity

Required Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing
• Ability to work a consistent Monday–Friday day shift schedule with no on-call obligations outside of scheduled hours
• Comfort working in a rural critical access hospital setting with a dynamic patient load
• Proficiency or ability to learn electronic medical record documentation (PowerChart)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in outpatient and/or acute inpatient occupational therapy settings
• Experience working in a rural or critical access hospital environment
• Familiarity with PowerChart or similar electronic health record systems
