Job Title

Pre/Post Op - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Key Responsibilities

Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to patients in a PACU setting
Monitor and assess patient condition before and after surgical procedures
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the surgical care team
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure patient safety
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Current BLS certification
Experience in Pre/Post Op or PACU nursing
Ability to travel and work on a contract basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

ACLS certification
Experience in a high-volume surgical or perioperative environment
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
