Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (MICU)

Location

Charlottesville, VA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Medical ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Manage a predominantly multi-system failure population with co-morbid conditions including sepsis, pneumonia, GI bleed, and organ failure
Deliver care across a 28-bed ICU environment spanning two units
Adhere to facility float policy, floating within scope of practice as needed
Complete required orientation modules and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted at time of submission; must be in-hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (copies must be submitted with application)
Minimum of Level 1 Trauma/ICU experience required
Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
Nursys verification required at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care setting
