Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-Hour Rotating Day/Night Shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) | 48 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-surgical care to adult and geriatric patients on a fast-paced 40-bed inpatient unit
• Manage a patient assignment of 4–5 patients on day/evening shifts and 5–7 patients on night shifts
• Support an average of 10–15 admissions per day, prioritizing care based on patient acuity
• Accurately document patient care and administer medications using Epic EMR and Rovers for medication scanning
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care across the surgical continuum

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience with recent hospital experience
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Alaris infusion pumps
• Familiarity with post-surgical recovery care following PACU
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-acuity, high-volume environment
