MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 8-Hour Shifts (6:30–17:15 or 14:00–23:00), Monday–Friday; Weekends as needed; No Call
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures in a clinical setting across multiple work locations
- Operate MRI equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Float to various departments or locations as needed
- Ensure accurate patient positioning, imaging quality, and documentation
- Collaborate with radiology and cardiology teams to support diagnostic imaging workflows
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of clinical MRI experience
- ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist) OR ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on adult exam); two attempts permitted
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or academic medical environment
- Familiarity with inpatient imaging workflows and multi-site operations
