Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Day/Night Rotation | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an acute Medical Surgical Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of generally 1:4 or 1:5
- Independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient experiences and outcomes
- Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
- Communicate effectively across care teams to support coordinated, patient-centered care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- Strong telemetry skills with the ability to independently read and interpret rhythm strips
- Must pass a telemetry competency test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or better
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
