Description

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location

Edenton, NC

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the care team as appropriate
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a valid Compact State license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Minimum experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting
Ability to commit to 36 hours per week for the full 13-week contract duration

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing or contract assignment experience
Familiarity with Med/Surg workflows in an acute care hospital environment
