Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting across multiple hospital facilities within the region
  • Float between assigned facilities as directed, with shift location communicated same-day prior to start time
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients in accordance with facility protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
  • Active North Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current PALS certification
  • Ability and willingness to float between multiple regional facilities as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Level 1 Trauma center experience strongly preferred
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred
  • Flexibility and adaptability to varying facility environments and patient populations
