Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel Contract)
Location
Greenville, NC
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting across multiple hospital facilities within the region
- Float between assigned facilities as directed, with shift location communicated same-day prior to start time
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
- Active North Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Ability and willingness to float between multiple regional facilities as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level 1 Trauma center experience strongly preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Flexibility and adaptability to varying facility environments and patient populations
