Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Shifts: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM / 6:30 PM–7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | Every third holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 35-bed Progressive Care Unit serving adult and geriatric populations with diagnoses including cardiac conditions, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring
• Titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications per physician orders and unit protocols
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–5, collaborating with patient care techs assigned at a 1:10 ratio
• Participate in unit-specific orientation including onboarding week and 1–2 days of floor orientation, including a required open-book skills assessment with a minimum passing score of 90%
• Float as needed to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units
• Demonstrate critical thinking, strong communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Artificial nails are prohibited; compliance with facility fingernail policy is required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Progressive Care, Stepdown, or IMC setting
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and titrating vasoactive or cardiac drips
• Familiarity with continuous EEG monitoring and neurological patient care
