Registered Nurse – Inpatient Rehabilitation (Travel Contract)
Location
Dallas, TX
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Day Shift | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation setting with a 1:7 patient ratio
- Care for patients recovering from stroke, amputation, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions, and major surgeries
- Operate and monitor equipment including IV pumps, EKG machines, bariatric beds, and medication dispensing systems
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner and Epic electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support individualized patient recovery plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in rehabilitation or medical-surgical settings
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) environment
- Proficiency with Cerner and/or Epic EHR platforms
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills with a warm, patient-centered approach
