Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location

Shawnee Mission, KS

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients throughout the shift
Float to other units as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Minimum of one year of RN clinical experience
Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience
Ability and willingness to float to other units as needed
Compliance with facility dress code: Navy Blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or familiarity
Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting within a fast-paced hospital environment
