Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services in a short-term acute care hospital setting
- Deliver one-on-one patient care with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Evaluate and treat patients across applicable acute care units as assigned
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist state license; compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist experience required
- Acute care experience required
- Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with travel contract compliance requirements and processes
