Occupational Therapist (OT) – Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) – Travel Contract

St. Joseph, Missouri

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services within an 18-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional independence
Document patient progress and clinical notes accurately using Epic EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to coordinate patient care
Float to inpatient units as needed through hospital shared staffing protocols

Required Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in the state of Missouri (or eligibility to obtain)
Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn Epic EMR
Ability to work in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
Willingness to float to other inpatient units as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience working in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)
Experience with inpatient hospital shared staffing environments
Travel therapy assignment experience
