Registered Nurse – NICU
Location

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite | Weekends Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on acuity
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float between sister units or nearby facilities as needed to support staffing requirements
- Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, scheduling protocols, and unit-specific standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State RN license or active Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
- Minimum of 1 year of NICU nursing experience
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Availability to work night shifts, including variable weekends
- Ability to complete required compliance documentation and onboarding modules prior to start date
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years (may include Charge RNs or Lead nurses)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a short-term acute care or Level II Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with teaching hospital workflows and interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Experience caring for high-acuity neonatal patients across a range of staffing ratios
