Job Title

MRI Technologist

Location

Oneonta, NY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Inpatient and Outpatient

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations including Neuro, MSK, Abdomen, Breast, MRA/MRV, and General MRI studies
Administer contrast agents as required per exam protocol
Conduct MRI patient screening prior to scanning
Operate a GE 1.5T scanner, averaging 7–11 scans per shift
Utilize PACS/RIS systems for image management and workflow
Support sedation cases in collaboration with nursing staff

Required Qualifications

ARRT (MR) certification required — ARRT (R) alone is not accepted
BLS certification required
Proficiency with advanced MRI studies (excluding Cardiac MRI)
Experience with pediatric imaging required
Familiarity with PACS/RIS platforms preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient MRI settings
Comfort working with on-site and remote radiologist coverage models
Experience with GE 1.5T MRI equipment
