Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Onancock, VA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed telemetry and surgical floor
Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and post-surgical care
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

Active RN license valid in Virginia or a valid compact nursing license (must be in hand at time of submittal)
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
Specialty experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry within the last year
BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
NIH stroke scale education and training
Experience in an acute care hospital setting
