Part-Time Contract | Saturday & Sunday Only | Days (2x12 Hours, 7:00–19:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care as a member of the operating room patient care team
• Scrub and/or circulate across a broad range of surgical specialties including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic Procedures, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General, Orthopedic, Robotics, Vascular, and Thoracic
• Serve as an advisor and resource for patients and their families throughout the perioperative experience
• Apply evidence-based care practices and support minimally invasive and advanced surgical techniques
• Float within facility and within scope as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma course required
• 8-hour annual trauma CEUs required
• Proficiency across multiple surgical specialties as listed above

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Background in academic or teaching hospital environments
• First-time travelers welcome to apply
