Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine studies including Cardiac, HIDA, Gastric Emptying, Parathyroid, Thyroid, Thyroid Therapy, and DAT scans
- Operate GE and Siemens imaging equipment within a 4-scanner/room department
- Conduct an average of 6–10 scans/studies per day in a high-paced environment
- Utilize EPIC EMR and Synapse/PACS systems for image acquisition, archiving, and communication
- Start and manage IV access as required for nuclear medicine procedures
- Adhere to department dress code requirements; solid-color scrubs, no prints or graphics
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience working in a high-paced Nuclear Medicine department
- Proficiency with IV placement and administration
- Availability for weekend, holiday, and call/standby assignments
- Must be present in state for the full week of department-specific orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with GE and Siemens nuclear medicine imaging equipment
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Synapse/PACS platforms
- Experience performing the full range of studies including DAT and Thyroid Therapy
