Job Title

MRI Technician / Radiology – Travel Contract

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | After-hours and weekend call rotation required (approximately 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely MRI imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• Adjust imaging parameters to study soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities with and without the use of contrast media
• Operate MRI equipment safely and in accordance with established facility and departmental standards
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotation as required
• Document and maintain accurate patient imaging records within the facility EMR system (Medhost)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT required
• Active New Mexico Radiologic Technology (MRT) license required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a general radiographer in addition to MR registry
• Prior experience working with Medhost EMR
