MRI Technologist

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | Onsite | Weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures to ensure accurate imaging results
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance
- Screen patients for contraindications prior to MRI procedures
- Document and communicate imaging findings to the appropriate clinical team members
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI (MR)
- Current BLS certification
- Demonstrated experience performing MRI procedures
- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and contraindication screening
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Ability to work independently during overnight and weekend shifts
