Registered Nurse – Mother Baby / Postpartum
Location
Frederick, MD
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Rotating weekends and holidays required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide couplet care for postpartum and newborn patients within a 27-bed family-centered unit
- Perform newborn assessments and deliver antepartum patient services
- Float to Labor and Delivery to support LDRP needs as required
- Perform antepartum and postpartum cross-coverage as part of routine unit expectations
- Complete required facility onboarding modules prior to start date through an online learning portal
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Maryland license or Compact license must be in hand at time of submission; no exceptions
- Minimum 3 years of RN acute care experience
- Active C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification required at time of submission
- Current BLS certification required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Must be available for rotating weekends and holidays; block scheduling cannot be accommodated
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Antepartum and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) clinical experience
- Experience with Labor and Delivery in an LDRP setting
