Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during day shift hours
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using the Epic electronic health records system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to Med Surg/Telemetry units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
- Adhere to all facility policies, dress code standards, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of RN experience required
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU/CCU experience required
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing (current Nursys verification required)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Demonstrated proficiency with Epic electronic health records system required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must be willing and able to float to Med Surg/Telemetry when needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have personal reliable transportation
- Must have completed verbal de-escalation training through an approved provider (Welle or CPI) prior to onboarding
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a large community hospital or regional health system environment
- Familiarity with coronary care, behavioral health, or rehabilitation service lines in addition to ICU
