Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU

Location

Alexander City, AL

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting during night shift hours
Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation
Administer and titrate intravenous drip medications
Provide care for patients requiring Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) support
Deliver post-cardiac catheterization patient care and monitoring
Document patient assessments and interventions accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR

Required Qualifications

Active Alabama State RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
Minimum of 1–2 years of ICU nursing experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Experience with ventilator management, drip management, IABP, and post-cardiac cath care
Copies of all certifications required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Familiarity with Meditech Expanse electronic medical records system
