Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an assessing therapist with a lighter caseload while taking on select Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) responsibilities
• Attend and participate in morning meetings and facility-wide meetings
• Manage and coordinate the rehabilitation team schedule
• Provide leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team including PT, OT, ST, PTA, and COTA staff
• Oversee and ensure compliance with PDPM processes and all applicable federal, state, and facility regulations
• Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in a high-acuity long-term care setting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Speech Language Pathology experience
• Experience in a leadership role within a SNF or LTC rehabilitation setting
• Demonstrated knowledge of PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model)
• Active Missouri State SLP License
• New graduates will not be considered for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience functioning in or supporting a Director of Rehabilitation capacity
• Familiarity with clinical and financial performance monitoring in a SNF or LTC environment
