Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)

Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in an inpatient or acute care setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
Document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of Tennessee
Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current NBCOT certification
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Previous travel therapy experience
Experience in an acute care or hospital-based occupational therapy setting
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
