Registered Nurse – Orthopedic

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed orthopedic and medical-surgical unit serving adult through geriatric populations
  • Care for high-volume patient populations including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
  • Monitor and manage inpatient and 24-hour observation medical patients as needed
  • Perform telemetry monitoring as required on the unit
  • Serve as Charge RN on assigned shifts as needed
  • Float to other campus locations as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license in hand at time of submission
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Charge RN experience required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • EPIC electronic health records experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience in orthopedic or medical-surgical nursing
  • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring
  • Comfort working in high-volume, fast-paced inpatient environments
