Registered Nurse – Orthopedic

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed orthopedic and medical-surgical unit serving adult through geriatric populations
- Care for high-volume patient populations including total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
- Monitor and manage inpatient and 24-hour observation medical patients as needed
- Perform telemetry monitoring as required on the unit
- Serve as Charge RN on assigned shifts as needed
- Float to other campus locations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Charge RN experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- EPIC electronic health records experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in orthopedic or medical-surgical nursing
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring
- Comfort working in high-volume, fast-paced inpatient environments
