Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room
Location
Peoria, IL

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, Level 1 Trauma emergency department serving patients ranging from newborns to elderly with varying acuity levels
- Manage and titrate a wide variety of drips including vasopressors, cardiac drips, and antihypertensive medications
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening cardiac rhythms and interpret monitor readings independently
- Perform and assist with lab draws alongside ED techs as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including attending physicians, charge nurses, ED techs, respiratory therapists, and a 24/7 house supervisor
- Support care of stabilized trauma patients transferred from the trauma bay to a pod as directed by the care team
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current ENPC or PALS certification
- Current TNCC or TNS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 prior travel assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- SANE RN experience
- Prior experience working in a teaching hospital with residents
- Familiarity with Philips patient monitoring systems
