Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekends and holidays included | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for patients across a variety of diagnoses including Cardiac, Diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal, General Surgery, and Orthopedics
• Administer and manage Insulin, Heparin, and Lasix drips proficiently
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/Unit Secretaries
• Float to IMCU or like/lesser acuity units as needed based on census

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications – must be in hand at time of submission
• CPI certification required
• Proficiency with Insulin, Heparin, and Lasix drips
• Current Nursys report dated within the past 7 days must be included with submittal
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of submission; maximum of 5 days, subject to manager approval

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med-Surg or Telemetry setting
• Experience managing IMCU-level patients
