Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) Travel
Location
Chandler, Arizona
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services to adult inpatient rehabilitation patients across neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and fall-related diagnoses
- Perform point-of-care documentation accurately and in a timely manner within the facility's EHR system
- Apply knowledge of GG Scoring in patient assessments and functional goal setting
- Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including Vector, Litegait, Saeto, InMotion ARM, Senaptec Sensory, and Technobody systems
- Manage a caseload of up to 8 patients per shift, collaborating with therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- Float to a sister facility located approximately 8 miles away as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of Arizona or ability to obtain prior to start
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an SLP
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in point-of-care documentation
- Strong time management skills in a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation environment
- Knowledge of GG Scoring methodology
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) setting
- Familiarity with neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and fall-related patient populations
- Experience with UDS electronic health record system
