Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM | Variable Schedule | Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care within a high-volume operating room environment across a broad range of surgical service lines
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for procedures including general surgery, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma cases
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Cerner electronic health records system
• Adhere to a variable scheduling model, including on-call responsibilities as required
• Float to other departments as needed in accordance with facility policy
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and uphold patient safety and quality care standards throughout all phases of the surgical experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Broad surgical knowledge spanning multiple service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
• Proficiency with Cerner documentation system
• Ability to meet variable scheduling and on-call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or Level II trauma center surgical environment
• Familiarity with robotic surgery platforms and associated perioperative workflows
• Prior travel nursing experience in an operating room setting
