Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Nights

Location

Dothan, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
Document patient information and care accurately using Cerner EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Alabama or compact state
Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required (must be obtained prior to start date; submissions with pending ACLS will be considered)
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Permanent residence must be located 50 or more miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
Familiarity with acute care hospital environments and floating to similar units
