Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Work a 36/36 schedule on night shift with floating to other units as required
• Participate in general orientation beginning on Sundays, including online computer-based learning (CBL) modules
• Actively support nursing students and contribute to clinical education alongside the provision of direct patient care
• Complete all compliance documentation, drug testing, and fit testing requirements within designated timelines prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in-hand at time of submission
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• AHA certifications required per facility compliance standards
• Traveler's permanent residence must be 100 miles or more from the facility's service area
• Ability to complete drug testing within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date
• Willingness to comply with CDC facial hair guidelines for fit testing purposes

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – required for international travelers, preferred for all candidates
• Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity of compliance and onboarding processes
• Experience in a Medical Surgical setting with higher patient ratios
