Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a high-acuity Medical Surgical Urology unit
• Manage patient ratios of 1:6 or 1:7 with confidence and clinical competency
• Administer and monitor Insulin and Heparin drips proficiently
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in alignment with unit protocols and standards
• Participate in pre-start orientation modules as required prior to shift commencement

Required Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license (compact or AL state license) in good standing at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with demonstrated high-acuity competency
• Proficiency with Insulin and Heparin drips required
• Comfort managing 1:6 or 1:7 patient ratios required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (documented religious or medical exemption accepted)
• Flu vaccination required (documented religious or medical exemption accepted)
• Permanent address must be at least 90 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Peritoneal Dialysis is a plus, though not required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; highly experienced candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Experience working in large healthcare facilities preferred
