Registered Nurse – ICU
Location
Allentown, PA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an adult ICU setting with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 3:1
- Float to other units within the facility as needed
- Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
- Deliver high-acuity nursing care consistent with a Teaching Hospital and Trauma Level I Facility environment
- Adhere to all facility compliance, orientation, and module completion requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Experience with adult patient population
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- PA Fingerprints (Childline) required prior to start; must be obtained within 12 months of start date
- Must be available to complete pre-start compliance labs within 48 hours of signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Critical Care Float Pool experience preferred
- Prior experience in a Teaching Hospital or Trauma Level I Facility
