Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) Circulator

Location

Palmer, Alaska

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: July 2026

Key Responsibilities

Perform circulating duties in the operating room across a variety of surgical specialties including ENT, GI, GYN, Urology, and Orthopedics
Provide perioperative nursing care within a surgical center environment consisting of 2 ORs and 1 procedure room
Utilize facility EMR system (HST) to document patient care and surgical activities
Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedural compliance throughout all phases of the surgical experience

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience
Circulating experience required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Travel candidates must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (facility will assist candidate in obtaining if not already held)
Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical center or ambulatory surgery setting
