Occupational Therapist – Home Health
Location
San Diego, CA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Days (Monday–Friday with one weekend day on-call rotation) | Onsite / Field-Based
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a home health setting across an assigned geographic territory
- Complete OASIS assessments accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency and compliance standards
- Manage a caseload based on completed visits, with a target of 25 or more visits per week
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- Complete required orientation modules during onboarding
Required Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapist license (candidates with a pending CA license who have applied at time of submission will be considered)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- OASIS experience required
- Active, valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Ability to adhere to timely communication and documentation requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior home health experience strongly preferred; candidates without home health experience will be considered
- Familiarity with home health compliance standards and documentation workflows
