Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Oncology

Location

Dallas, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a dedicated Oncology unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 (max 5:1)
Perform sterile dressing changes following infection prevention protocols
Administer blood and electrolyte replacements in accordance with unit protocols on a daily basis
Operate and manage Baxter infusion pumps and document care using Meditech EMR
Collaborate with a team including charge nurses, fellow RNs, and Patient Care Technicians across a 41-bed unit
Float to designated areas as required per unit guidelines

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas
Minimum 1 year of Oncology nursing experience
Strong proficiency in sterile dressing changes and infection prevention practices
Solid understanding of blood and electrolyte replacement process and protocols
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

General Medical Oncology background
Experience with ports and central lines
Familiarity with Meditech EMR
