Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Labor and Delivery unit, including monitoring and assessment of fetal status throughout labor
• Respond to obstetric emergencies including fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, placental abruption, and postpartum hemorrhage
• Manage and support patients experiencing conditions such as preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, and placenta previa
• Float to Postpartum unit as needed to support patient care continuity
• Document patient assessments and care accurately using Centricity and Meditech EHR systems
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team while maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio in a 9-bed unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current ACLS or ALS-OB certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Current EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification required
• Current BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in fetal monitoring and assessment, emergency obstetric response, postpartum care, and time management
• Experience with Centricity and/or Meditech electronic health record systems
• Strong interpersonal qualities including adaptability, attention to detail, empathy, and effective communication in a team-based environment
