Job Title

ICU Float Registered Nurse – MICU (Level 3)

Location

New York, NY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Every Other Weekend (EOW) | Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge duties per unit needs

Key Responsibilities

Float between ICU specialty units including MICU, SICU, Respiratory Special Care, and Surgical Progressive Care based on staffing needs
Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills in a fast-paced critical care environment
Maintain current knowledge and competency in critical care nursing practices
Provide direct patient care in the intensive care unit with the greatest staffing need at time of assignment

Required Qualifications

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license — NY license required
Minimum of two (2) years of ICU acute care experience
BLS certification through American Heart Association only
ACLS certification through American Heart Association only

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience across multiple ICU specialty areas (MICU, SICU, Respiratory, Surgical Progressive Care)
Prior float pool or multi-unit critical care experience
