Job Title

Travel – Occupational Therapist

Location

Bradenton, Florida

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning across both the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) and acute care units
Manage a caseload of approximately 4 patients per day on the IRF unit and 8–12 patients per day in acute care
Participate in team conferences and provide family training as part of the care continuum
Recommend and implement adaptive devices and adaptive equipment to support patient independence
Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system (Meditech)
Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent hospital staff, with a minimum of one weekend shift per month required

Required Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) state license in good standing
Active BLS certification
Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
Willingness and ability to work on an IRF unit
Weekend flexibility with availability for rotating weekend and holiday shifts
Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior hospital and/or inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) experience highly preferred
Experience with stroke and/or neurological patient populations
Collaborative, flexible, and team-oriented work style
