Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Wytheville, Virginia

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed Emergency Room setting serving all patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric
Operate and monitor patients using Baxter infusion pumps and Spacelabs cardiac monitors
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using MedHost EHR
Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 while delivering safe, high-quality emergency nursing care
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Experience with MedHost EHR
Ability to work every other weekend as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

Trauma nursing experience strongly preferred
Flexible, adaptable personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment
