Job Title

Travel RN – Operating Room

Location

Bowling Green, Kentucky

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume surgical unit performing an average of 25–35 cases per day
Support a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, and ENT
Operate and assist with advanced surgical technology including DaVinci XI robotic systems, MAKO, Velys hip and knee systems, and hana bed
Maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech electronic documentation system
Participate in on-call rotation including one weekend per month (48-hour call), two first-call weekdays, and two second-call weekdays
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including a board runner, holding nurse, surgical attendants, and anesthesia tech

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky or compact state eligibility
Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to fulfill on-call requirements including weekend and weekday call shifts
Must provide own scrubs per dress code policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with robotic-assisted surgery, particularly DaVinci XI systems
Familiarity with orthopedic surgical procedures including total joint replacements
Prior experience with Meditech documentation platform
